Stallone said after the movie

“I had a lot of great times on that film. Kurt nailed some of those scenes, like the pro he is.”

Conclusion

The film ultimately received mixed reviews but in the end, the critics had their way, giving it a huge thumbs down. Citing a waste of good acting talent from Stallone and Russel. Regardless, the film sold well on VHS.

In 2019 Sylvester revealed a script for a sequel. No soundtrack was released, as all of the songs were already released by the original artists. The musical score was released in 2007 with a limit of 3000 copies.
