Thundercats Toys

We all remember the jingle “thunder, thunder, Thundercats ho!!!”. While reciting this familiar line, Lion-O swings his sword to lightning and flashes. Yes, those were the days of Thundercats. A popular cartoon tv series from the mid-1980s that spawned the Thundercats Toys.

The Toys

Thundercats Toys is a toyline released in 1985 and was based on the Thundercats TV show airing in the mid-1980s. The toys were produced by Rainbow Toys, a subsidiary of LJN Toys, and released in three annual waves from 1985. Series two and three included those from the previous series.
