The seventh studio album from the American pop artist. Michael Jackson (Bad) was released on August 31, 1987. Five years after his previous album, Thriller. Two million copies were sold in the U.S. in the first two weeks of release. It reached 35 million sales worldwide. Bad was nominated for six Grammy awards and won two.
