Bubble Yum Gum
The History
Created in 1975, Bubble Yum Gum was the first soft bubblegum.
In 1977 Life Savers candy bought the recipe from the creator. That year a rumor started that spider eggs were a main ingredient in the gum. The Life Saver sweets company had to go to great lengths to dispel the story.
The Gum was all popular for the variety of flavors and the long-lasting taste.
