The Album

The Mission Soundtrack is a cinematic masterpiece. Composed, orchestrated, conducted, and produced by Ennio Morricone. Released as the soundtrack to the film of the same name in 1986, it became an instant classic.

The soundtrack was nominated for an Academy Award in 1986 and won a Golden Globe for Best Original Score.

Tracks from the album were used during the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City.
