The TV Show
Carl Barks created Duck universe comic books. One of these was “Uncle Duck”. The show is mainly based on the latter. Donald Duck joins the navy and has to find someone to look after his 3 nephews. Huey, Dewey, and Louie. Mrs. Beakly gets hired by Scrooge to babysit the lively trio of nephews. She has a daughter, Webby.

IGN listed Ducktales as the 18th of 100 best-animated tv shows ever.

The “bad” guys in the show are based on the comics. Scrooge’s main rival is Flintheart Glomgold, who pursues to replace him as the richest duck in the world.
