The Movie

A stark expression on the faces of the marines tells the horrors of the Vietnam war.

Starring Charlie Sheen as private Chris Taylor. He joins the 25th infantry Division, stationed close to the Cambodian border. The platoon that Tayler is assigned to, is lead by an inexperienced Lieutenant Wolfe. During combat, the platoon gradually turns to two older and more experienced soldiers for leadership. Tom Berenger plays the role of Staff Sergeant Bob Barnes, while Willem Dafoe is Sergeant Elias Grodin. The film brazenly exhibits the carnage of the Vietnam conflict and the human tragedy. It is disturbingly accurate of events that unfolded daily.
