Street Hawk

Street Hawk was released in 1985 and ran for 13 episodes on ABC. Every episode has an introduction to the Plot of the show.

The TV Show

Music for Street Hawk was composed by Tangerine Dream. The motorcycle used for the production was based on a 1983 Honda XL500 Trailbike. Rex Smith stars as Jesse Mach, a retired policeman. He leads a double life of mystery. By day he acts as a public officer at the police station, and by night he would transform into the mysterious vigilante crime-fighting biker. The built-up bike would always lose parts during stunt filming, and they had six on standby. A nearby bike shop was constantly repairing and manufacturing parts for the bikes. Firstly a VHS version of the pilot episode was released, and in 2010 a four disk DVD set came out for home use. Various toys and novels were released as spin-offs.
