The TV show

Who can forget the typical 80s intro? The recognizable theme song of L.A. Law opens yet another drama-filled episode in the courtrooms of Los Angeles. The show ran from 1986 to 1994. It won 15 Emmy Awards, of which four were for Outstanding Drama Series. Steven Bochco and Terry Louise Fisher created the script. Bochco late hired Boston attorney, David E. Kelly to help write the script of future episodes. Kelly is synonymous with other hit tv show productions like ‘Ally McBeal’. The “Legal Eagles of Los Angeles” consisted of an ensemble of actors. Among them were Corbin Bernsen, Jimmy Smits, and many more.

L.A. Law also featured the occasional guest appearances of upcoming stars like Kevin Spacey, Steve Buscemi, Christian Slater, and Luci Liu. Just to name a few. The 2-hour pilot episode aired on 15 September 1986.
